About NYU Startup Week
Every semester, Tech@NYU hosts Startup Week, a week-long series of events, kicked off by theHackNY Hackathon and ending with a bang with DemoDays. This fall, we are partnering up with EIA@NYU-Poly, NYU EEX, and Parsons to further expose NYC students to the larger tech community in the city.
This semester's theme is "Hacking as a Mentality." Not just in the coding sense though - hacking is the process by which one uses skill, experience, and alternative thinking to leverage a situation for some benefit or value.
NYC is rapidly turning into a "hacking capital" with a recent massive growth in tech startups and venture capital. Understanding how one can learn to be a "hacker," applying those "hacking" skills, and succeeding are very powerful notions to be explored during NYU Startup Week.
We are all looking forward to your presence - NYU Startup Week will be an amazing opportunity to learn from the best, meet others who share similar passions, and push you to translate that into action!
